Meet Red
Red is 22 months old , German shepherd cross . : Red is a GSD x who was picked up from the streets in Cyprus and brought over to the UK by another charity. He found a home but his new owners were not able to deal with his distrustful and anxious behaviour around other people. He is good with children but finds adults difficult and his early experiences of people in Cyprus may not have been pleasant. Although he has lived with cats he will chase them unless they are strong enough to stand up to him. In the home with people he trusts he is very loving but outside the home he has lunged and barked at strangers. We will be working on his social skills whilst he is with us. We feel he would do better in a quiet home in a country environment although care will need to be taken around livestock as he loves a good chase! In kennels in Surrey Donation and homecheck applies.
